15 February 2019Memorandum of Cooperation was Signed with the Mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow

On February 15, 2019, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Association "Holy Places of Undivided Christianity" and the Mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow, located in Church of SS. Peter and Paul by the Yauza Gate. The ceremony took place after the Divine Liturgy served in this church on the day of the Meeting of the Lord, which is one of the main Christian holidays. The document was signed by the head of the Association Miguel Palacio and Bishop Anthony of Moravich, the representative of the Serbian Orthodox Church under the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, the abbot of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Moscow.

Miguel Palacio thanked Bishop Anthony of Moravich for his help in establishing contacts with the Serbian partners of the Association and for his willingness to participate in the development of a pan-European route along the most significant common Christian shrines.

This event took place on the eve of the opening of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture in Serbia, held on February 21-22 in Belgrade. The Russian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Yarilova will include the head of the Association "Holy Places of Undivided Christianity".

In addition to the presentation of the concept of the project “Holy Places of Undivided Christianity” and proposals for the Serbian part of the route, a number of working meetings and signing of memorandums of cooperation are planned in Belgrade.
