On 9 April, 2021, the Head of the Association “Holy Places of Undivided Christianity” Miguel Palacio and Pavel Karpukhin, President of the Saint Spiridon Cultural Cooperation Center, signed a Memorandum on the accession of the Center to the Association. The ceremony took place at the Alexander Men Museum Exposition housed at the M.I. Rudomino All-Russia State Library for Foreign Literature.

Pavel Karpukhin expressed readiness to participate actively in the cultural and educational programme of the project. During the negotiations, a plan of joint activities was discussed, in particular, a round table devoted to the ancient Christian Saints, Spiridon of Trimythouth and righteous Theodora, whose relics repose on the Greek island of Corfu. These Saints, whose spiritual heritage will come under review, are venerated in both the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church.
